Occupational Health and Safety Management
At Robin Snow Constructions Pty Ltd our OH&S system is based on the belief that the well-being of people employed at work or people affected by our work, is a major priority and must be considered during all work performed on our behalf. People are our most important asset and their health and safety is our greatest responsibility. The public shall be given equal priority to that of our employees in order to achieve an accident free workplace. Our OH&S system is accredited by NSW Dept of Public Works and Housing NSW.
The success of our health and safety management system is dependant on:
- Proactive planning of all work activities with due consideration given to implementing OH&S controls that are suitable to each given situation;
- Understanding the total work process and associated OH&S risks;
- Ensuring the work team is totally committed to achieving our objectives through involvement and consultation.
Environmental Management
Robin Snow Constructions Pty Ltd develop and maintain safe and healthy environments through due diligence at the work site. Adherance to policies and procedures and continual training of all employees helps us to preserve ecosystems as does the use of environmental friendly products where possible.
We are seeking to move from an attitude of straight demolition to a process of selected deconstruction on our projects, that is, total reuse and recycling both off and on site.
Training Management Plan
Robin Snow Constructions Pty Ltd has an effective training management focus which leads to continual improvement and measurable results for this company, the projects we undertake and the construction industry as a whole. The full support of our employees and our subcontractors is sought in actively pursuing this quest to making training and skills development a part of the culture in the construction industry.
The objectives of our Training Management Plan are to:
- Improve workplace productivity and performance by developing and maintaining a highly skilled and accredited workforce;
- Utilise apprentices to undertake 20% of the trade work involved in contracts;
- Ensure the skills of the workforce meet industry requirements;
- Ensure the workforce has a broader skills-base which keeps pace with changing technologies and industry requirements;
- See a safer working environment through training;
- Deliver the project within the contract period “defect free” with no need for rework due to a skilled and trained workforce.
Robin Snow Constructions Pty Ltd has maintained an excellent industrial relations record since we began operations through awareness of our responsibility as an employer. We implement employment conditions deemed to satisfy statutory obligations and importantly, employee expectations and are committed to a well managed, harmonious and productive workplace. Quality Management System
Robin Snow Constructions Pty Ltd aims to deliver the highest quality projects at all times. We do this through our Quality Management System which:
- ensures the project is delivered within the contract period and is defect free, eliminating the need for rework;
- maintains world best practice with our clients and representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and employees;
- works within the regulatory framework governing the construction industry and complying with all legislative requirements as per the specifications provided by the client and the Building Code of Australia;
- monitors our performance against set standards of customer satisfaction, performance, professionalism, innovation, consistency, expertise, capability, experience, industrial relations management, safety, management of the environment and the pursuit of excellence.
